Can I add an existing purchase to my IKEA Family card?

To qualify for any offers you need to swipe your card at the time of purchase, it is not possible to add an existing purchase at a later date.

Who can apply for IKEA Family?

Anyone over the age of 18 can join IKEA Family, free!

How can I get my IKEA Family digital card?

Once you become an IKEA Family member, you can get your digital card in three ways.

  • Open any e-mail from IKEA Family and scroll to the bottom to find your card
  • At our store, walk over to any IKEA Family kiosk and choose to get your card through e-mail, SMS, or by printing it temporarily
  • Call our Customer Care at 1800 419 4532 and they will make sure you receive your card through e-mail or SMS

What are the benefits of getting an IKEA Family digital card?

Your IKEA Family digital card is the key to all your special benefits. You can use it for all things fun, like invitations to our events and workshops, and to avail of our special offers on products, services, and at IKEA Restaurant and IKEA Café. The card, like your membership, is free!

Why should I scan my IKEA Family digital card?

Scanning your digital card when you check out of our store will ensure that you enjoy the special IKEA Family pricing on selected products and solutions. It will also help us curate offers and services for you better, when you visit next.

Should I scan my IKEA Family card if I am not availing an offer?

Always! Scanning your card will help us curate offers and services for you better. It will also give you 30 extra days in which to return your product or solution, because members enjoy a 90-day Return Policy.

Can my partner or parents have a card on my account?

No, the IKEA Family card is personal to you. Since, everyone can register and get a free card, you family and friends can become members too. They will enjoy exactly the same benefits as you.

Can the cashier look up my IKEA Family digital card number at the checkout using my phone number?

At the moment, our cashline systems cannot match your membership number with your phone number. But you can easily get your digital card before you start to check out.

Is there credit connected to the IKEA Family digital card?

No, for now, we do not offer any credit on the IKEA Family card.

What do I do if I cannot find my digital card?

Once you become an IKEA Family member, you can get your digital card in three ways.

  • Open any e-mail from IKEA Family and scroll to the bottom to find your card
  • Send SMS to 56767165 with the message GET CARD from your registered mobile number to get your IKEA Family card number.
  • At our store, walk over to any IKEA Family kiosk and choose to get your card through e-mail, SMS, or by printing it temporarily
  • Call our Customer Care at 1800 419 4532 and they will make sure you receive your card through e-mail or SMS

Can I use my IKEA Family digital card in another country?

We will be happy to have you over in any one of the 48 countries that we have stores in. If the country you are in, has an IKEA Family program, you can enjoy IKEA Family benefits there as well, if visited country accepts non-local cards. However, if you are going to make regular purchases in that country, we recommend registering as an IKEA Family member locally.

How do I make changes to my IKEA Family account details, or cancel my account?

To update details like name, address, contact details, etc., you can log into your IKEA Family account or call our Customer Care at 18004194532.

I do not have an email ID, can I still become an IKEA Family member?

Yes, of course. You can become a member by enrolling using your mobile number and selecting the checkbox ‘I do not have an e-mail ID’ in the IKEA Family enrolment form.

What is the validity of the card?

We do not believe in anything short-term. Your IKEA Family digital card is a lifelong card.

I just became an IKEA Family member. When do I get my newsletters?

Welcome to IKEA Family! We send all our members regular newsletters through e-mail so please make sure that you have selected “e-mail” under the option “I would like to be contacted by” in the IKEA Family enrolment form.

I have forgotten my account password. How do I get a new one?

Select “Forgot your password” on the login page or call our Customer Care at 18004194532, they we will guide you on how to get a new password.

Can I have more than one profile with the same email address?

No, your registered e-mail ID and phone number need to be unique.

Why do you need my address to register me on IKEA Family?

Having your address helps us, offer you a better experience when it comes to services like delivery, assembly, and more.

Can I continue to be an IKEA Family member but opt out of receiving SMS/emails, and how?

You can opt out of receiving either e-mails or SMS by un-checking the appropriate mode of communication under the option “I would like to be contacted by” in the IKEA Family enrolment form. You can also click on the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any IKEA Family e-mail to opt out of receiving e-mails from us. Please note that it will take a week for us to “unsubscribe” you from all our systems.

Where can I find all IKEA products?

You can browse through all our products on our website or experience them hands-on in our store.

How is my data being used?

Will the website log-in remember me or do I need to log in every time?

Currently our website does not have the “Remember me” functionality. You will stay logged in to the website until you decide to log out or end the browsing session.

How long does the registration process take?

It only takes a minute to fill up our enrolment form and become an IKEA Family member. You will receive an e-mail soon after you join, to confirm your membership.

I have not received any message to confirm my registration. Has my registration been completed?

If your phone number or email ID is found to be invalid, we will not be able to complete your registration. You can however call us and we will help you update your phone number or e-mail ID, and complete your registration.

Can I become an IKEA Family member if there is no store in my city?

IKEA FAMILY is for everyone! You can become a member here and get inspiring home furnishing tips and ideas in your inbox. When our store comes to your city, you will experience much, much more!

Can you register me with IKEA Family over the phone now?

Joining IKEA Family requires personal data and a password to be set up. You could call our Customer Care at 18004194532 and we will be happy to take you through the registration process, step by step, while you register.

I am not able to register. The website doesn’t seem to be working?

Call our Customer Care on 18004194532 and raise a query. They will resolve the problem as soon as we can.
