Solid, roomy storage for your shoesAnonymous reviewerIt definately took two people to put together and it is a little awkward as it has no back legs and therefore needs attaching to the wall. It is a good, solid piece of furniture which holds a good number of shoes. It opens and closes firmly and the shoes don't get stuck, preventing it opening which our old one did.5

Nice but flawedAnonymous reviewerIt goes together quite easily. I did it on my own. The two legs at the front will make it easier to put up against a skirting board. That's when it becomes a problem. If you've got a wall socket behind where you want to put it, it obscures the socket and can't be put flush with the wall. So make sure you don't have one or have it moved before.3

Material

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.

Room for more shoes in the hall

HEMNES shoe cabinet has two deep compartments, each with room for two rows of shoes. This means that you can hide away at least twelve pairs of shoes in them - and get a neat and tidy hall into the bargain. The compartments also fold down, so you can find the shoes you need quickly and easily.
