Frame has crackedAnonymous reviewerThe frame of the bed has cracked already, it’s one of the worst pieces of furniture I’ve ever bought, avoid at all costs1
After one yearAnonymous reviewerAfter one year used everyday like a double bed this bed can going to the skip. The guides fall out because scraw holes have worm out. Of course I ask ikea what I can doing... but Ikea told me sorry your warranty was expired sorry.1
Slates breaks quickly Anonymous reviewerSlates broken within months, and couldn’t find any replacement to buy. Hello IKEA can you help me in replacing slates please. How can i buy new slates?
Thank you1
Hard to assemble when room is tightAnonymous reviewerThe instructions requires you to turn and rotate the bed in full length multiple times. It’s extremely hard to assemble when your room length just fit the bed. Had multiple scratches on my wall because of that. 1 star1
Very useful and good productAnonymous reviewerGood product that allow you as another bed for guest and good looking product5
Broke in 2 months Anonymous reviewerHi I purchased this product on 16th Jan assembled 2 weeks later . Technically started using this day bed since Feb 2026 and yesterday 27th March 1 wooden salte has broken.
I am going to call Ikea today. To see what can be done.
I like the mattress.1
Broken within three weeksAnonymous reviewerThe side of the main bed has split and one of the slats has already snapped1
Day-bedAnonymous reviewerThe bed feels sturdy and comfortable when built correctly. We use it as a king size bed every night and have not experienced any issues at all. We found buying a good mattress and using a mattress topper helped to mitigate the space between the single matress. The only issue was squeaking from slats on the right side. We replaced the black palstic studs with screws on the right side (free from ikea). Now the bed is squeak free and feels pretty solid. It also makes a comfy sofa, but you will need cushions to make it more comfortable. Over all, I would recommend this bed and if the instructions are followed correctly plus with some minor adjustments you'll have sturdy bed or sofa.5
Tidy bedroomAnonymous reviewerGreat bed sofa for little bedroom and looks stylish 👌5

Day BedAnonymous reviewerFantastic bed. Bit of a faff putting it together and it really needs two people and quite a of space. However well worth it at the end. Very sturdy and easy to pull out into a double bed5

When space is shortAnonymous reviewerNice sized casual/day bed. Good looking product when assembled, make sure you follow the instructions. Great for a spare room or student .5
Not worthy this moneyAnonymous reviewerOpening and closing the expanded bed space is a nightmare when you have a carpeted floor. Completely impractical1
Fabulous day bedAnonymous reviewerNot so easy to assemble but looks great - turns into a double easily and has a large drawer capacity so all works amazingly in a small bedroom5
So good had to buy a second! Anonymous reviewerWe’re 6 months in and we absolutely love this bed, bought for our spare room but so practical, sturdy and comfy we bought a second for our main bedroom. Great design, clear instructions, easy to put together. Looks nice too, allows different sleeping combinations and can sleep either way. 5
A good bedAnonymous reviewerI like the fact it extends from a single to a double, would be really nice if it extended a bit further so that the head end was the part with the 3 sided wood and your feet go at the extending part if that makes sense. That way pillows would stay in place and both people have a proper head end and free to move feet.5
