Can't go against a wall!Anonymous reviewerThe back looks awful and so cheap all wood on show and threadbare. We wanted this to go in the middle of the room. We've thrown away all the packaging too so now have to keep this awful looking sofabed. We have the normal sofa version of this and the bottom has a skirt on it why haven't they done this?!

I likeAnonymous reviewerI purchased this mainly because of the covers being able to come off to wash as I have cats and a grandchild. I would have liked it to be a bit more modern looking with the arms, square instead of round, but it looks good in my lounge. I chose the grey covers.
The sofa is on the firm side, hopefully will soften up, I love the size of it as my room is long rather than square and it will be just right for my tall sons when they stay over. Could even even do a floating shelf above it.
It took about 1hr to set up and works perfectly. Great storage and another reason for buying it.
It’s bigAnonymous reviewerPurchased this sofa following the good reviews. It is good quality and quite firm. The seat depth is not very big and it feels very upright, but i think will soften up. It’s going to take some getting used to as it is huge!

Very firm and good quality sofa bed.Anonymous reviewerFor the most part it was straignt forward to put together until it came to the mechanisms of assembling the sofa bed action, I think an assembly video by Ikea would be of much benefit and it would of been great if Ikea fitted a material strap handle to lift the back of the sofa up when trying to get it back to its sofa state after using it as a bed as you really have to slip your hands inbetween to lift the back up. The sofa can fit 4 people on it, really good for my back as I have spinal issues, a firm sofa but would definately benefit from a mattress topper so purchase a king sized one if you buy the sofa. The size of the sofa bed is of a king size bed and good for a 6ft person. Also the sofa isn't right up against the back of the wall, so good space if you want to put a shelf on the wall overhead. Very happy with the sofa.

First IKEA furniture purchase Anonymous reviewerTake time constructing the sofa and follow the instructions, it went together well. Seat cushions are a little too firm when used as a bed, though hopefully will soften up as it is used more. The fabric covers would benefit by being thinker material as seem very thin when stretched over the frame and cushions. Had this 6 months and still looks good so hopefully will last well. Overall we are pleased with the purchase, only wish would be for it to not be as firm when used as a bed.
