Good and with potential to be greatAnonymous reviewerGenerally pleased with the VIRRMO ceiling lamp and the quality is very good for the price. The amount of light emitted is perfect - not too much and not too little. Warm colour temperature is good for my hallway too. My only niggle is that some light is emitted at the top of the fitting where it meets the ceiling. You can see this in the hallway picture, although mine emitted a ring of light virtually all the way round the shade, which is not great; you don't want your eye to be drawn in this way, especially when coming down stairs and viewing the light side on. My workaround was to apply a thin (1.5mm-3mm) strip of white draught excluder to seal the small gap between the back plate (the part that screws to the ceiling) and the ceiling. This is not a perfect workaround as I had to leave three gaps where the three lugs on the shade insert and twist into the back plate. Better than it was however. Perhaps IKEA designers could come up with a better solution.4
