Reviews
We are pleased with the sofa but not sure on its longevity Anonymous reviewerWe bought quite a large L shaped combo equalling 6 seats with a 2 seater sofa bed to make a U shaped effect. The building of the sofa was pretty hard work, especially adding the upholstery. Don’t underestimate the effort involved it took hours. As a result some of the cushion covers look slightly uneven and could be tweaked when you look from certain angles. The main concern we have is the strength of the capped arm with the longer side of the L shape - I’m not sure it will stand the test of time and I’ve already added additional fixings to reinforce it. Overall the sofa is reasonable value for money (£2.8k for 8 seats and a footstool)
Really uncomfortableAnonymous reviewerWe’ve had this corner sofa since December, although it’s a perfect size for our living space it certainly doesn’t give the comfort value we expected in comparison to the one we tried out in our local branch. It’s impossible to relax on it, the back cushions are over stuffed and really hard to the point the covers are near bursting; even after a few months of use there’s still no give. No matter what position or where we sit we just can’t get comfortable, I’ve tried lying on my side but end up with pins and needles in my arm because it’s so hard. Sorry IKEA we’re not at all impressed, it may be a nice looking sofa but thats about it.
Great sofa but…Anonymous reviewerThere was no way to stop the seat sections separating from the corner section I had to buy barrel nuts from eBay for the sections to interlock and not pull away from each other.
