When mounting ceiling brackets/fittings ensure a distance from the wall to allow opening/closing your curtain without obstacles like a protruding window sill, radiator or window handle getting in the way.

Fits both VIDGA wall fitting (12 cm) and VIDGA ceiling fitting. If used with ceiling fitting, remember to mount the ceiling fitting 12 cm from the wall.

Comprises: 1 corner piece (track length: 12 cm), 1 ceiling fittings and 1 end cap.

If I could give it minus I wouldAnonymous reviewerThis might be one of the only products I've used from IKEA that unequivocally should not be stocked. Advised to cut down for bay windows and different angles. Theyre not safe to cut as a home user. If you manage to save your fingers and thumbs during the process, then when you cut them down the connectors dont fit because of the angle. Let me just retirate - without clamps these should not be attempted to be cut, theyre tricky to hold and dangerous due to saw and blade slips. Essentially unless you're creating some ridiculous hospital style square / recatangular design, these are not fit for purpose.1
Massive quality issues resulting in jammingAnonymous reviewerWhen they work, they are great. But so far only two out of five have, and the problem is manufacturing and quality control. The straight VIDGA track is amazing – gliding without any effort. But the corner pieces are bad. Due the bending in manufacturing, some parts of the channel have a smaller width than required by the gliders, so that they snag. The snagging is further exacerbated by the construction of the ceiling fitting, which – when closed – will put a spreading force on the top, further narrowing the bottom part where the gliders are supposed to run through. Ikea, I would love for you to get in touch with me and resolve the issue. You have an amazing system here – if you are able to fix the jamming! The solution could be using a profile that is just a millimeter wider for the corner pieces. The mounting construction will also benefit. It's probably only a millimeter. But that millimeter renders the corner pieces unusable.1
Not fit for purpose Anonymous reviewerI totally agree with this statement (Not fit for purpose). I bought this curtain system several years ago, to join a 4 and 5 metre window together. The system does not align up at all. The curtains constantly gets stuck on the join’s or comes out of the hooks, when trying to open or close them. The rail system is also not suitable for heavier curtains either. which is a shame. I leave the curtains in an open position most of the time as they just do not work. I was hoping that IKEA would have had a solution to this problem by now but it doesn’t look like they have. All they need is something to grip each part together so that there are in alignment. 1

Frustrating as doesnt come with connectors to rail for wall bracketAnonymous reviewerIf you buy the tight amount of rail and corner pieces you dont have enough connectors. Soo frustrating. Taking much longer than it needs to, to put up. Including a wasted trip back to store to try and get missing pieces which were not available in store1

Fine for what i needed it for but does constantly snagAnonymous reviewerI bought this alongside other items in the range to put up curtains around an open wardrobe. I don’t really need to draw the curtains much as they are mostly used for covering the open wardrobe, but if I did I’d find this piece really annoying as the gliders don’t go round the corner piece well at all. The rest of the system is amazing but this piece just doesn’t seem to work well with them. I’ll be keeping them as they work for what I need, but if you need to draw curtains round corner piece I think you’d find these really annoying!3
Needs additional partsAnonymous reviewerThis corner piece lets down the whole Vidga system. Only includes part for a ceiling mount, and if using wall fittings you very easily end up without enough rail and bracket connecting parts – #146956 and #146957 – and have to use Ikea spare parts service. This should be included and/or sold separately. Also the curve is slightly pinched and it's too easy for a glider to get stuck at an angle.1
Not fit for purposeAnonymous reviewerI bought this system for my bay window as I’ve used the straight track before and love it. however the straight track doesn’t work with the corner track in that the curtain snags every time - the curtain simply can’t run through the system as the tracks don’t align together.I’m dismantling and returning. No doubt will have a tussle at returns as ikea don’t like to accept returns when packaging has been opened!1

Whatever your needs, VIDGA system will adapt
