It's firm, but not so firm that it's like sleeping on concrete. It has a thin but plush foam layer on the top, and is so comfortable. The only one thing I wish it had was edge support but I can live without it. For the price, this is one of the best mattresses you'll get. No 'comfort zones' either so no matter your size the mattress will still work well.5

Sleep perchance to dreamAnonymous reviewerThe mattress came as a roll well wrapped in plastic as I live at the coast I chose the mattress on line and had it delivered to a nearby supermarket car park . I was provided with ample information about time and day etc and at the appointed time was met by to happy cheerful guys in a van who placed it in the rear of my car . The mattress is well constructed and very comfortable it was purchased to go on a spare bed . There was an initial funny smell to the mattress which disappeared after a day or so . We looked at more expensive mattresses but this had the firmness that we wanted .5

I didn’t have any issues with lingering smells although it states that there maybe for a while. At this price point I can thoroughly recommend. Maybe slightly smaller than the full measurements. Not too heavy but well made so easy to pick up and manage. Probably will replace my main mattress for a larger one of these.5
