It’s going to be hard for me to return a mattress now it’s unwrapped… also means all my single mattress fitted sheets don’t fit properly, which is really annoying. Overall I’ll make do, but disappointed to say the least. 2

Comfy but sizing issue Anonymous reviewerI had read the reviews regarding size but thought this would be addressed so bought one. I bought it for my top bunk so the fact that it wasn't as deep as described was fine. Had to put a piece of foam at the pillow end to make up the shortfall on length. It is very comfortable and I get a good night's sleep. I was going to buy another one for my son's divan base but it needs to be 190cm long as per the store display as I checked. Hopefully it was a bad batch and there will be correct sized ones available soon 4

Like sitting on concrete!Anonymous reviewerBought this mattress today, felt ok in the show room but once I got it home and set up i was so disappointed.. doesn't fit in my bed frame properly either it's too small.. previously had a valevag mattress and it fitted fine but the springs had popped out of it. Not sure what to do as I am unable to transport the mattress back for an exchange now that it has been opened 1

Strong chemical smellAnonymous reviewerThe mattress is comfortable but had a really strong chemical smell for the first month of use. Ikea advises to keep the room well ventilated, let the mattress air out and to vacuum it regularly and we did all of these things, but nothing helped and the smell persisted for a whole month. We let the mattress sit uncovered for the first 24h, had the bedroom window open 24/7, vacuumed the mattress several times but despite this, the sweet and nasty chemical smell remained and could be smelt throughout the whole flat. The smell also contaminated all the bedding and our sleepwear too to the point that we had to keep washing everything, including duvets and pillows, several times. After the a month the smell finally disappeared but it did make us worry about the levels of VOCs we'd been exposed to and made us regret the purchase. We've bought Ikea mattresses in the past and never had this problem before. For anyone concerned about chemical smells I would not recommend this mattress.2

Not comfortable at allAnonymous reviewerHave slept on this medium-firm mattress for almost 2 years now. For the first few months it was ok, but since then I've been waking up stiff and often with lower backpain. Which is strange, because it does't feel very soft (I prefer firmer mattresses), but something is wrong with it that causes discomfort. Disappointed.1
