Very good could be wider for wider irons. Anonymous reviewerVery solid only issue I had was my iron being a little wider than the holder itself I had to bend it a little to make it fit. This wasn’t a problem but just to make others aware I’ve included it in the review.

Okay but few things to be aware of Anonymous reviewerWe bought this a while back and used it with our old iron which worked great. After a while we saw that the iron plate was beginning to wear in places where it touched the holder. There is definitely a fault in design. We had to get rid of the iron eventually and buy a new one. Alas, the new iron doesn’t fit the holder.

The areas that come into contact with the sides of the iron soleplate are metal. This will lead to wear on the soleplate. These parts of the holder should be sleeved in plastic or fabric.
