Billy Holes 4mmAnonymous reviewerI have about 200 empty shelf pegholes in the Billy bookcases I’ve just assembled. Given how much it spoils the look of these black bookcases I wanted to cap these. Looking on the IKEA website I found these caps but noted a 5 mm hole is required.
IKEA literature suggests Billy is one of IKEAs most popular product lines. If this is true, I really cannot understand why IKEA don’t provide or sell caps that will fit in the empty holes.
If I’m right, and you don’t, surely it would be a good idea to get some made and included with the product or at least make them available to buy. I currently have a wall covered in black Billy bookcases which looked great from a distance but not so good when you can see 200 or so holes.
