Sleeping on a cloudAnonymous reviewerI wish I had bought this mattress sooner! I have had great nights sleep since purchase. Well done IKEA on great design, quality product and reasonably priced 5
Hard and sags quicklyAnonymous reviewerWe bought the Hemnes day bed as a sofa and it was all delivered first week of November. We picked this mattress as an option. It costs more than the foam one and we thought it would last longer. It is a little more comfortable with an added topper, I find it a bit hard. But my main issue is that as it's used as a sofa, it is sat on in specific places regularly and those spots have already started sagging. Bearing in mind we've had this just over 2 months, it's a bit poor. Not as durable as we'd hoped.2
Not good qualityAnonymous reviewerI'm really surprised that all of the 80x200cm mattress options (ÅFJÄLL, VANNAREID, ÅGOTNES) for the IKEA day-beds are all so thin and poor quality.
I previously used MALFORS foam mattresses on the FLEKKE day-bed, but they needed replacing after 4 years of use.
This particular mattress is so thin and you can feel the springs. When I unpacked it there was also loose stitching on one of the corners.
I'm surprised that IKEA don't offer a good quality mattress in either springs or foam at the 80x200cm size. I wouldn't recommend any that they currently offer for sale.2
Mattress cloudAnonymous reviewerGot this for daughters new bed. she says it’s nice like on a cloud.
A bit like the dog of wisdom what ever that means. Good I think 🧐4
Wrong sizeAnonymous reviewerIt doesn’t fit in the UTÅKER stackable bed which is too short for the length.2
goodAnonymous reviewerI had the time to go to the shop to check out a mattress with these measurements. This is the only one that I liked, the other two were just not at all acceptable, with foam that felt lumpy.
This mattress is firm but I like it this way, the only annoying thing is that the mattress cover does not stretch properly on it, so you can feel the folds under the sheet. I have a very thin synthetic duvet on it and that makes it ok, IKEA also sells a mattress cover of these measurements.4
last for years!Anonymous reviewerI felt obligated to review after reading what other people have to say about it. I bough two of them to fit EU 160cm king size bed in 2018 and mattresses have been in constant use since then with one of the IKEA's quality mattress protector on top of them. As these are small it is easy to air and rotate and hoover them. It is more than 6 years now and I am moving them to guest bedroom and getting two more for my new bed frame. It is firm, which I think is perfect, I can't stand soft mattress, this is not natural for humans to sleep on soft. it did not change shape over the years, did not sink (maybe a little bit on one side due to sitting on it, but not that it would bother me) and cannot feel any springs digging into my body. I am 52kg and husband is 85kg. I have searched the UK market for 80x200 mattress but cannot find anything that clearly says it is extra firm and has good reviews, so I am sticking with IKEA and I hope these are still the same quality as 7 years ago !5
Beatrice Anonymous reviewerVery good and strong good value for money 5
AmazingAnonymous reviewerI purchased two mattresses with the kids pull out bed it's been over a month and no complaints seems like really good quality p.s. do remember when you buy this mattress or any new mattress do open the mattress and leave it on the floor for a day so it's been aired out so you get the right comfort5
Very ComfyAnonymous reviewerInstantly felt better than my last mattress, had it for a few weeks now and still very comfortable5
Mattress too thin and not enough supportAnonymous reviewerNo sample in the store so I thought the item would expand after unpacking into a normal thickness mattress but it is woefully thin and insufficient for a supportive bed. Also a very slim width mattress. Disappointed I spent £150 on such a poor product - very unusual for IKEA 2
Hard and uncomfortable Anonymous reviewerHave it for guest bedroom, fine for one night but everyone who is staying longer says it’s uncomfortable and can feel springs. My husband tried to sleep on it
3 nights, and hated it.

Brilliant mattress. Anonymous reviewerIt is very comfortable and good quality. I love that it also has a washable cover.
It is hard mattress and I love it for that. It is very good for my back, I feel very good in the morning. I saw some bad reviews saying that it's too hard and uncomfortable, so I was a bit concerned before ordering, but it's actually very comfortable for a hard mattress. Not sure why people were ordering a hard mattress and expecting for it to be soft. If you need a hard, good quality mattress, then this one is for you. If you prefer soft mattress, then please save yourself a hustle and don't order it.5
Very uncomfortableAnonymous reviewerIt's heavy, and you can feel every spring. Even my wife who's 55kg finds it very uncomfortable. Kids don't like it either.1
Really uncomfortableAnonymous reviewerPurchased 2 of these mattresses along with the day bed in May, unfortunately no one has used the mattress until last night as it was purchased for a spare room and for visitors. I can honestly say that it’s the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever slept on in my life and that was with them both stacked on top of each other, the mattress is way too hard and the springs sick in you .
Unfortunately because no one has used it within the timeframe for exchanging I’ve lost out.
I would definitely not recommend these mattresses for anyone, even children. I now have to go and try find 2 mattresses that are comfortable and same size which is going to be difficult.1
Terrible mattress, and not easy to find replacement in this odd sizeAnonymous reviewerBought this for the specific dimensions of the Ikea daybed, it's a dreadful mattress. Even with an expensive mattress memory foam topper it is a nightmare to sleep on. Doesn't support weight, doesn't offer comfort, and doesn't help you sleep well (and I'm only 70kg/11 stone).
It 'might' be just about OK for a single night, for a child perhaps, but if you're thinking of this for adult visitors, I'd avoid the entire daybed/mattress simply because of the odd size1
Really uncomfortableAnonymous reviewerI bought this mattress as a set with one of the daybed for guests, I tried to sleep on it one night and it’s like sleeping on the floor, it’s so hard and thin, it’s really not worth the price I’m really disappointed, I’m gonna have to change it for another one as all my guest also complain that it’s really uncomfortable. Really disappointed and a waste of money.1
Mattress too hard and bumpyAnonymous reviewerMattress too hard and bumpy1
