Ok for a guest bedAnonymous reviewerThe stackable nature is great as it means it's easy to turn a single bed into a double for when guests arrive. However the mattress slides about a bit on the bed (we bought the mattress bed combo, so it's definitely the right size mattress for the bed) which is annoying and means we have to have the bed pushed against the wall to stop this. A few guests have found the bed fine for a night or two, but I have recently been sleeping in it consecutively and the mattress is SO THIN that I'm starting to get joint ache and am having to sleep with two rolled up duvets on top of the mattress to pad it out a bit. I would buy a mattress topper, but since the mattress is not a UK standard single, this isn't possible!! IKEA, please make a mattress pad to fit this bed, and find a way to stop the mattress from slipping.

Perfect for our needsAnonymous reviewerGood quality furniture. Ideal for our guest room. The beds are stackable but easy to separate when needed. Mattresses are quite thin which made sourcing bedding a little more difficult.
Simple beds great for kidsAnonymous reviewerThese beds are pretty low down which is great for kids learning to sleep on proper beds (I put beanbags by the edges in case they roll off). It has also been a great bed for guests - connecting them together creates a really good large bed
Temporary bedsAnonymous reviewerAfter my wife (70’s) broke her ankle she was unable to go upstairs, we therefore had to convert a room downstairs to a temporary bedroom. As we needed single beds these fit the bill. Very very comfortable, easy to make when using a duvet. Can recommend these beds.

Versatile use as singles or double; the strap that clips the beds together when using them as a double prevents them slipping apart and the frame design means there is no gap between the mattresses. The firm mattresses are very firm and I would probably choose the medium if buying again. Great product highly recommended!

It packs away easily into a sofa and is perfect for our small spare room.
