ClunkyAnonymous reviewerTHe good thing is that with a lot of cutting and bending it will fit most drawers. But it is not very practical, even my slighly larger knives do not fit in the largest compartment.
To make room for any utensils you need to cut some dividers.
Here are some ways it could have been better:
- Cutting guides printed on the reverse.
- Adhesive on the reverse.
- Room for larger cutlery.
Choose the size to fit your cutleryAnonymous reviewerHubby and I had been looking for over 3 months for cutlery trays to fit the drawers in our new kitchen. Finally found these in IKEA. Width wise they were 1cm too wide but I got creative with my craft knife and re-cut the end tabs to fit at a 90 degree angle instead of 135 degree. All our cutlery fits in one drawer and kitchen knives and gadgets in a second drawer. We cut and removed a few of the inserts so that the large sharp knives would fit. The surface of the trays holds items in place so they are not rattling around whilst opening and shutting the drawers. Perfect.
Fits Exceptionell 60 x 37cm drawerAnonymous reviewerI have the Exceptionell 60 x 37cm drawer which has previously remained an unorganised cutlery drawer due to other cutlery trays like the Updatera being *slightly* too big for the drawer.
If you keep the small bottom row and big middle row, and cut off the big top row, this fits in the Exceptionell drawer perfectly. I'm so pleased - my drawer is finally tidy!
