Of course your home should be a safe place for the entire family. That’s why a safety fitting is included so that you can attach the wardrobe to the wall.

Hinges with integrated dampers catch the door and close it slowly, silently and softly.

Integrated damper catches the running drawer and closes it slowly, silently and softly.

Adjustable feet make it possible to compensate any irregularities in the floor.

A groove along the top moulding makes it easy to hang your clothes on the outside of the wardrobe.

Attractive wardrobe but poor quality control and gaslighting staffAnonymous reviewerThe wardrobe itself is attractive, however too expensive at £375. Unfortunately, the quality control seems to have gone out of the window. After I had begun constructing the wardrobe, I noticed that the top panel had a large black ink stain engrained into the material, which was impossible to clean off. So, I had to make a return trip to IKEA Croydon, where I was gaslit by the employees who accused me of damaging the part myself! Outrageous! Trust me, I am super careful when assembling furniture as I have no desire to return to crime-riddled Croydon. After an hour’s wait, I was eventually given a replacement part (and made to feel very lucky for the honour, and given no apology for the 2 hour round trip). Then, when back home, I noticed that one of the mirror doors was damaged on the back. I couldn’t cope with another trip to Croydon, so I did a live chat and the helper fortunately did agree to send a replacement door from Sweden, but this meant waiting 2 weeks to finish the wardrobe!3

What is fibreboard?

Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.

Hang clothes – outside your wardrobe

Along the top moulding of this wardrobe we put a special groove with a perfect indentation to cradle the hook of a clothes hanger. This makes it easy to hang your outfit for the morning, or your clothes for ironing or airing. The groove goes around the entire wardrobe, so you can hang lots of clothes.

"I was inspired by the idea of creating furniture that makes it possible to furnish your entire bedroom in the same style. The result is the TYSSEDAL series. It’s light, neat and soft - with a handcrafted feeling in every detail. How about a headboard that the sunlight can filter through, a wardrobe with mirrors in the doors, and chests of drawers and bedside tables with softly shaped tops and drawer bottoms with a printed pattern. All the pieces are on turned legs and have handles in brushed chrome. The quality and style I know will last for many years."
