Excellent value for moneyAnonymous reviewerI buy the trixig series as an amateur DIYer and don’t expect professional grade performance and so I’m very pleased when this sawed through a piece of hard wood plywood. I’m thrilled to have bought this kit before it disappeared. I used with Bosch drill. As the Ikea feedback comment on the 1star review said, I ensure I allow the drill to do the work rather than push which is often a mistake made and can both damage the equipment and split the wood. Slow and steady worked for me.4
Worked better than expected!Anonymous reviewerTook a chance on this item for a one off job as it had the only non standard 78mm hole cutter I could find for installing my ikea recessed lights into a bespoke MDF unit . MDF is notorious for blunting blades quickly so I was a little sceptical on its durability .However, it did the job effectively and still had life left in it for further work ,Great value .5
FabAnonymous reviewerGreat value 5
Buy cheap, buy twice!!Anonymous reviewerShould really know better than to buy things like this , on the cheap . Might be okay for thinner stuff like 3mm ply but doesn’t like thicker stuff at all, and seemed to blunt quite easily. Ended up in the bin- sorry Ikea but thumbs down this time 1
Replacement for a broken hole saw - great for priceAnonymous reviewerUntil my hole saw broke, I had no idea there were two different hubs - a round one and one like this one with a rounded off rectangle. This one makes much more sense - torque wise - than the round ones found at B&Q. For the money, it is everything a DIY'er would ever need to make holes in wood.5
Decent set for common useAnonymous reviewerI was looking around for a set of hole saws at an affordable price. There were cheap set at other DIY stores however the reviews were horrible for them. I am glad I got this set as it is sturdy and does the job well.5
