Block-out blinds blocks light from shining through and completely darkens your room.
The blind is cordless for increased child safety.
The blind rolls back up slowly and softly thanks to the built-in soft-closing function.
Can be mounted inside or outside the window recess, or in the ceiling.
The cover panel alllows you to block out the light even if you mount the blind inside your window frame.
The cover panel is removable.
No need to change fittings or drill new holes if you change your blinds. The wall/ceiling brackets included in the package are suitable for TRETUR, FYRTUR and KADRILJ roller blinds

It isn't white!Anonymous reviewerThis "white" blind isn't white at all. The fabric is white, but everything else (housing, fittings etc.) is made out of cheap-looking grey plastic. It would look terrible if I installed it, and I certainly expected more for £50+. I want to return it but IKEA want to charge me £25 to collect it (although they were happy to deliver it for £5) - this is clearly done to dissuade people from returning items. Given that it is mis-described on the website I should be able to return it for free. Even for an in-store return IKEA still won't refund me the delivery fee, which is illegal under UK Distance Selling Regulations. I have spent 40 minutes battling with IKEA's moronic chatbot but with no success. Could somebody from IKEA contact me please or I will be instigating a debit card chargeback for this item. Either way I will no longer be buying online from IKEA - the images on the website are so poor that (as in the case with this item) it’s impossible to tell what you are buying.

Treater roller blindsAnonymous reviewerWe are very happy with our treater blinds we knew what they were like as we bought it to replace our old one which failed after working for years we think the spring broke we did hear there is a way to rewind it but l wasn’t sure and was not able to do it l did ask at the store but in the department they were not sure either if there is a way l think it would be a good idea to have a technical area where it could be done but that’s just my opinion never the less we bought the same blinds anyway and do not regret it they are excellent easy to buy and install l do recommend them the quality is very good

Used to replace a Frytur blind which are no longer availableAnonymous reviewerReplaced a Frytur remote control blind that failed and is discontinued so replacement not available.
It uses the same fitting as the Frytur so was easy to install but seems flimsy and is difficult to pull down added to which the toggle to pull the blinds isn't attached very well and often comes off if too much force is used. I would have liked to replace the Frytur blind with an equivalent but IKEA have nothing available at the moment. I invested in the Frytur blinds and the associated gateways but IKEA have discontinued them with no replacement avaiable.

The original was great but the new brackets break easilyAnonymous reviewerI have seven of these blinds in my house. The original was excellent and the brackets were made completely of metal. The latest version have a mix of metal and plastic brackets. The plastic parts are critical and break fairly easily. It’s disappointing that IKEA have taken what I thought was the best blind for the money and ruined it to save a pound or two on costs. Bad decision.

Feels cheap and flimsyAnonymous reviewerI got the 140cm one, and while I don’t know if smaller sizes suffer from the same issue, it is very flimsy. So far rolls up and down nicely but it feels cheap. Improved brackets and fixtures needed!
Great blind easy to fitAnonymous reviewerI bought this blind yesterday for a sky lantern. It was really easy to fit and feels really secure in its fixing. Does the job perfectly and a really cost effective way to screen off the lantern. Hopefully it’ll work well in the summer months to keep the house cool. Really happy with the purchase.
