Covered in black mouldAnonymous reviewerI purchased two of these shades to hang in a covered outdoor area. Initially, they looked beautiful and added a lovely natural touch. However, after a little time, we noticed they had started developing black mould, which has now made them look quite unsightly, unusable and only good for the dump. I couldn’t find any clear guidance indicating they weren’t suitable for use in kitchens, bathrooms, conservatories and sheltered outdoor space, or anywhere with moisture in the air so this is very disappointing and a complete waste of money.1

Just what I was looking for, but I snipped off the handle things and inserted a proper 130cm hanger with a ring inside as the fitting is like you get on some paper shades where you weave the wire through and it was tricky to get the lampshade to hang straight. Now perfect!4
