We've had several of these and just one was faulty where the shade remained a bit skewed and just wouldn't square up, but Ikea immediately replaced it. Great value lamp that enhances any room.

Quite flimsy, and easy to crease the shade, but persevered and they look nice on my small side tables. Would have liked touch control rather than an actual switch, but you can't always have everything. I didn't want round shades.
