Can only clamp in one directionAnonymous reviewerBe aware: the clamp has no screws or fastenings attaching it to the base and that has no fastenings to the lamp. So this means you can only use the clamp when the lamp is directly above it on a desk or shelf. You can’t clamp it - as I wanted to do - side-on to a headboard. Hugely frustrating, and unusually poor thinking from Ikea (and a bit stingy not to come up with screws or something to be able to clamp in a multi directional way).

good value Anonymous reviewerBought it to use on my workbench with a daylight bulb. It's easy to attach and move around. The clamp doesn't look really hard wearing but good for the price and with care I think it will last. The switch is on the flex.

Good value worklampAnonymous reviewerA well-designed lamp that is east to adjust to give light where it is needed. I like the fact that the shade is detachable, so that, by using a spotlight LED bulb I can have a very compact arrangement - ideal for a small bench with restricted space. The dark grey finish is very classy too, and the mounting is easy to attach vertically to a wall or horizontally to a bench, as desired.

Need to get consistent springsAnonymous reviewerBought two, one works perfectly, the other sags down. The four springs on the one which works are slightly shorter (3mm) than on the one which sags, where only one is 'short'. I'm trying to get some of the shorter springs to fix this, wish me luck

A few niggles Anonymous reviewerI had a specific place for this in my craft room, it was the best I could get without paying a fortune for a craft lamp. The lead is a little short it assumes that you have sockets every metre along the wall and getting it to clamp on in a relatively tight space was a struggle but neither problem is insurmountable
