The extra length provided by this cable would be ideal, and the quality of it is not in question - I especially like the braided cover, good for longevity. The problem - I bought this in the hope I could power my SONOS speaker on the top of my BILLY bookcase. Unfortunately, the plug does not fit into my SONOS speaker! Given IKEA's collaboration on the symfonisk product line, you would think the cable would be interchangeable. The plug is square, the socket on the SONOS Play 3 has rounded corners - ergo, it doesn't fit. Not IKEAs fault, but frustrating nonetheless. 2
