It is thin, so doesn’t distort the rug in any way. I definitely recommend this especially if you don’t want to be chasing your rug around the room all day long.

It is not workingAnonymous reviewerHave purchased this in the past and it has really worked. But the latest 2 packs I have tried have not worked at all. Noticed that the colour has changed and it appears the dark grey works but the lighter one does not. Not sure if that is correct with all the stock but we have one that we have been using for quite a while which is dark grey which is good. However, the new ones are in light grey are not sticky at all!

Works well! Just wash if it loses gripAnonymous reviewerI have used this rug grip for a few years and I noticed that it started to lose its grip. My rug was sliding around. This is due to dirt/dust that collects under the rug and sticks to the grip. Simply follow the washing instructions (max 30C, gentle wash). I hung it up to dry and then was able to press it down onto the wood floor. My rug is once again gripped!

Other underlays stick more to the floor causing the rug to shift around and frequently have the underlay poke out. With this one, it sticks more to the rug, so it never pokes out and still does the job.
It's so cheap that we also used it as protection on the floor when doing messy DIY stuff around the house.

Rug underlay - not sticky at allAnonymous reviewerrecently purchased stopp filt in two different sizes. The smallest 70 x 120 has at least stuck to the underside of the rug but has not at all stuck to the floor and therefore has done nothing at all to rectify the problem. This is not good quality non-slip underlay - i am pretty disappointed as expected a lot better from Ikea considering the volume of rugs they sell.
