Don’t wash it!Anonymous reviewerI absolutely loved this rug and couldn’t believe the price. It wasn’t too dirty but after a few weeks I thought I’d pop it in the washing machine to freshen it up. Disaster. It shrunk, it smelled weird and it discoloured in patches all over. It went in pretty clean and came out looking stained. Our local launderette quoted £30 to clean it professionally but said they weren’t convinced the ‘stains’ would come out. And obviously it’s not the right size any more. I might as well buy a new one for the same price which is not exactly environmentally friendly. It shouldn’t say washable if it’s not.1

What is cotton?
