Doesn't really work..Anonymous reviewerGot one of these a little while ago. Wasn't expecting much for £8, but it's not great. The light switches itself off after a minute or two of use. Even on maximum brightness, my friends have commented that it doesn't look like I have a ring light on. The clip also isn't adjustable, so it sits weirdly on a desktop monitor.

I know my laptop camera is already good but to my surprise, having this made me look a lot better during our virtual meetings! It has 3 colors to choose from and produces the right amount of light especially when it’s a tad cloudy outside.
Does what it says on the tinAnonymous reviewerOK, so the light has a weird clip that is really designed for thin laptop screens, and on a full size monitor it will sit weird. *But*, it has a pivot, so you can adjust it to sit nicely. It has 3 power levels, and 3 colour temperatures. It's bright enough to illuminate your face in video calls, and you can use it to illuminate your workspace when it's dark. It won't replace a proper desk lamp, but it's not supposed to. As a web camera ring light it's great.
I don't know what the deal is with peoplewho've had problems with it, maybe they are using it wrong, maybe they thought they were getting a standard lamp, maybe quality control issues? Who knows? Works for me.
The change I would make to this is that I would change the clip thing for an actual spring loaded clamp, so you could clamp it anywhere. Monitors come in all shapes and sizes and this definitely doesn't fit them all.

Small which is perfect for me. Fits perfectly on my Apple Mac laptop, doesn’t impinge on the camera so just the right size there.
Has pads which I love so it doesn’t damage your laptop when resting on it.

Lots of different light brightness settings and cool or warm tones for such a little device with just a light touch.
I found it fantastic when I’m working late at night for seeing international clients with a different time zone, makes my face clearer. (That could be a blessing or a curse for my clients lol)
Poorly MadeAnonymous reviewerLooks very neat and stylish. I bought two. One was fine and does what it should. Be sure to have an adapter if you are want to plug into a regular USB port as this is USB-C.
The second one doesn't fit together properly at all. The movable swivel on the mounting clip seems to be on backwards meaning you can only clip the light on back to front which defeats the point of it as your camera or screen is then covered.
Handy and well designedAnonymous reviewerBought this to assist my webcam lighting. I wanted to plug the cable into a wall plug rather than my laptop, but the wire doesn’t reach the bottom of my screen (admittedly it is a 43”). It works well in the job it was designed for, which is connecting into your laptop and boosting the light level.
