Care
Wipe clean with a cloth dampened in a mild cleaner.

Great Sturdy BedAnonymous reviewerI have this bed in king size for 4 years and just brought the double size for my son, its a great sturdy bed, yes it can squeak but this means you haven't set the brackets up right on the frame or the screws have come loose over time, you simply need to take the mattress of screw everything tight and back in place so it doesn't move then tada! no more squeaking, I know this because I absolutely hate squeaky anything! floorboards, beds, doors you name it! it requires maintenance and/or a bit of WD40. It's a great bed for the price.
Poor quality screw. Possible irrecoverable mistake to avoidAnonymous reviewer1. At Step 37, the screw joining the midbeam and the support bracket cannot be secured completely as the screw seems to be striped when screwing in the first time.
2. At Step 23, not enough warning is given. If you hammer in the plastic screw in the wrong hole, it is impossible for you to extract it.
Really Not Worth itAnonymous reviewerI bought this bed frame with standard slats and two under bed drawers. It cost over 350 pounds with the mattress so I was expecting a reasonable budget bed. The bed did not last two years without the headboard falling apart. I had to tighten the screws every time I changed the covers. The slats kept moving and provided little support. My partner and I developed back pain. The bed creeked and bed slats slapped as we turned round at night meaning we were woken up intermittently. I have recently replaced with a standard divan and a quality mattress not from IKEA and was excited to see our old bed go. I would never buy a bed from IKEA again.
It was also difficult to assemble for anyone thinking of a spare room bed, it's not worth the hassle.
Very disappointedAnonymous reviewerWe have shopped with Ikea for some years and have had previous beds and mattresses and this is the first item we have been disappointed with. The bed has started to come apart after only a few days, it is very noisy to sleep on, every time my daughter moves the bed creaks. Very poor quality. We purchased a mattress at the same time and again this is very disappointing.
