Too big and bright, no good as a bedside lampAnonymous reviewerI was imagining this was going to be quite a soft gentle lamp to have on my bedside table, but it’s pretty big - would crowd out a bedside table - and with the recommended Solhetta 40W lightbulb it was blindingly bright and not at all restful! The light shines out in stripes around the room and you get a blind spot in your eye from the bulb. Would work well in a lighthouse, haha. I bought two for either side of the bed but will be returning both.

Material
What is glass?
Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
