So disappointedAnonymous reviewerI’m really disappointed with this storage unit. The quality feels as weak as cardboard, the drawers wobble and don’t feel sturdy at all. I honestly don’t think it will last very long. The only good part about it is the top panel, which seems to be the most solid piece.
I have about 80% of my furniture from IKEA and have always been happy with their products, but this one is by far the worst I’ve bought. Definitely not up to the usual IKEA standard.
Wrong instructions! Anonymous reviewerI spent two days assembling this due to a mistake in the instructions. Super frustrating. Now that I've found out what the problem was with the instructions, I'm happy to share my knowledge.
IMPORTANT: for this specific chest of drawers (3 drawers, children, with one bigger drawer at the bottom and two smaller ones at the top), the instructions on page 7 are WRONG! You have to place the metal tracks in holes 2, 13 and 19 (not 2, 13, 25 or 2, 7, 13 as stated in the instructions!!!).
Other tips
- The bottom drawer needs to be built differently than the top two drawers. Follow the instructions.
- Ensure you screw the metal tracks in the cabinet in the right way - easy to screw them upside down instead. There will be a left and right side.
- The wheels of the metal rails attached to the drawers will have to slide INSIDE the metal rails attached to the cabinet, not above.

Wrong instructionsAnonymous reviewerI spent all day trying to put these drawers together because the bottom drawer didn’t fit. I thought it must be, until I read the reviews below. Having made the changes as stated below it all fits together. I’m not happy that I’ve lost a full day from my holidays messing about with them. IKEA you need to change your instructions! This is the second time I have had problems with IKEA products this week. I will be very careful about purchasing items from Ikea in the future.
Instructions not correct for bottom drawerAnonymous reviewerAs per other reviews bottom drawer does not fit correctly and overlaps when you follow the instructions. Put the drawer base into the two top holes on the drawer front and everything will fit perfect.

As per other reviews the instructions are incorrect and the drawers overlap and building them is an ordeal. Even my dad who is an engineer struggled. They just don’t work in the slots. So many times when I’d started building I wished I could take them back. Completely put me off buying from Ikea in the future when I’ve had a few decent pieces in the past

However, if you use the shallower recess on the bottom drawer (i.e. move the base up) then it all works perfectly. IKEA, please update the instructions! Other than that, my daughter loves it as a bedside table.
Wasting time to assemble a unfitted product Anonymous reviewerWith the measurement is 63x40x60 cm that shown in the product page, however, the frame size is only 60x40x60 cm which is totally can't fit the 3 drawers and make the assemble process very hard. It took over 4 hours to do and re-do again and just wasting our time. Not sure how the 63cm height is measured even with the top it cannot be reached 63cm! Poor design...Aim to return the goods and claim for refund
great kids furnitureAnonymous reviewerWe visited Ikea and saw a really nice kids bedroom so we bought the entire set, I can't imagine why everyone is finding this so difficult to put together my 4 year old literally helped me build 80% off this. I must admit when I got the carcass out of the box I thought they were really poorly manufactured because they are hollow, but once we put it all together it was absolutely solid! We have had the furniture for nearly two years and it still looks as good as new. I would say the drawers are definitely on the smaller side but we have three and the shorty wardrobe which is more than enough for our daughters clothes and a few toys in the larger draws at the bottom. I think going to store and having to get all the individual bits was a bit of a pain, literally everything is sold separately, carcass, drawer fronts, tops and feet! there is a lot, but if you pick what you want online you can get a list of what you need, better still get it delivered and someone does the work for you :)
Poor design.Anonymous reviewerLooks like the holes for the brawler runners on the frame are not in the right place to allow the drawers to be fitted. After trying various combination and trying to force in some new holes we are left with a bottom drawer that doesn’t properly close. IKEA flat pack furniture has generally come a long way, this set has not!

SparepartsAnonymous reviewerI really like these but our child opened the drawers and used them as a ladder to get to something on top of the wardrobe above. All the runners snapped and we can't find spares. We've tried ones advertised as compatible but they weren't. Have we missed IKEA selling spare runners?
Nice but difficult to open drawersAnonymous reviewerYou need to buy handles for these otherwise you have to open them from the sides which is a bit annoying, weird that Ikea did that, given everything normally works well.
