Not possible without separate headboardAnonymous reviewerIdentical to the previous review, purchased the bed assuming the headboard was optional, but without it, bolts are missing and even with bolts it's not stiff enough to sleep in. Unusually poorly engineered by IKEA.1
3 X missing things!!! Not possible to buildAnonymous reviewerFirst off, you have to buy the headboard separately despite the 2nd photo showing the headboard. This isn't that clear. Then you have to buy the slates separately. Again, not very clear. I decided to build the bed without headboard - this isn't possible as the bed is unsteady. Then I find you can't build it because there is a bag missing with screws and bolts. Not sure if this is an error or another issue with this product. I took the day off from work to kit out my son's room and he'll be back from school with no bed to sleep on!! The missing bolts are key to building this bed and no information states if you have to order 105236 and 104895 separately - they appear in the instructions so I'd assume they should be here!1
