You can use the lighting strip under ENHET wall cabinets and open wall frames as work lighting – or use it to create a cosy light inside the open wall frames.
With this LED lighting strip you get both a functional light and a nice atmosphere in your ENHET kitchen – making cooking more enjoyable, safer and easier.
If you connect the lighting strip to TRÅDFRI driver and wireless dimmer, you can easily turn on, turn off and dim your lighting as needed.
By connecting this product to the DIRIGERA hub, you get even more out of it and can also control it, together with other smart products, in the IKEA Home smart app.

Not motion sensorAnonymous reviewerIKEA adversities this light as a sensor light and a worktop light and has multiple pictures showing the light above worktops, without specifying what type of sensor the light has. Naturally people would think it has a motion sensor to turn the light on when you are close to it, and it doesn’t work like that. I think it is very misleading and almost false advertising. The only information you can find online is that it has a proximity sensor, so can only be used in a cabinet where you can open/close door to trigger the sensor, which seems to be the case. This scenario won’t apply if it’s installed above a worktop. Don’t buy if you are thinking about motion sensors.

Would have given them 5 stars but we cant figure out the motion sensor and how that works. Can you please advise? It doesn't seem to work! And there is nothing in the instructions. Plus I have googled and can find nothing. I am wanting to buy 2 more and have them on the same remote but would like some clarity on the motion sensor beforehand.
