Looks nice, but not the most practical of chairsAnonymous reviewerI got one in orange and one in white for different rooms. Chairs looks cool but they are quite uncomfortable to sit on. They should really have been at least 10cm higher. You are so low to the ground it feels uncomfortable after sitting for any length of time. They are solid construction and easy to assemble in under 10 minutes. I'd say the pricing is about right. 4

In the early 1980s, our founder Ingvar Kamprad asked the Danish industrial designer Niels Gammelgaard to create the world's most inexpensive armchair that could be manufactured industrially, without filling or fabric. Niels had already designed another chair in metal with holes, so Ingvar suggested making the holes bigger to remove a third of the material. It worked. JÄRPEN armchair was born – a timeless classic given the name SKÅLBODA in the Nytillverkad collection.
