Good basic lamp stand Anonymous reviewerGood value, easy to assemble, if a little shorter than expected. Although the online info says it's 130cm tall it's hard to judge what it'll look like till it's in your room. The online photos show the lamp next to sofas which must be very low backed and make the lamp look taller than it is. Deliberately chose one with the switch up near the light fitting as a floor switch is no good for a lamp behind furniture. The brass is a good colour with a good finish on the base. The base is weighted nicely so it's quite solid and I imagine it'll last many years.4
