Let nature light up your home. This portable table lamp in hand-braided bamboo is designed by Ilse Crawford. The material gives a warm, welcoming glow and creates decorative light patterns in the room.
Product details
Each lampshade is unique since it is made of bamboo with natural colour variations and is hand-woven by skilled craftspeople.
If you want to dim the light, just turn the knob.
By dimming the lighting, you change the mood in the room.
You can easily connect the portable lamp to a power source and charge the batteries by using the included USB cable.
The material brings a piece of nature into your home and spreads a calm, warm feeling.

Built-in LED light source.
The light source has a lifetime of approx. 25,000 hours. This corresponds to about 20 years if the lamp is on for 3 hours per day.
When the battery is fully charged, the product will shine for approx. 12 hours.
Batteries are sold separately. IKEA recommends LADDA rechargeable battery 2450 mAh HR6 AA 1.2V. 4 pieces required.
Possible to separate for recycling or energy recovery if available in your community.

What is bamboo?
Strong, flexible and one of the world's fastest growing plants – bamboo has many uses that make it an excellent renewable material. It’s a type of grass and usually grows without the need for fertilizers or irrigation. After being harvested, it grows new shoots that are ready for harvesting after 4-6 years. At IKEA we use bamboo for items like furniture, bathroom decor, baskets and lamps – and we are constantly exploring more areas of use for this versatile material.
