Classically serve the herring as an entire meal with boiled potatoes, sour cream and chives, as a light lunch on crispbread with sliced egg or as a festive appetizer on a rich rye bread.

    This is my favourite in the range, delicious pieces of herring in a creamy thick sauce, it is my go to for a treat. Keeps well ( never more than a week with me) in the fridge. It is not "fishy" so I'd encourage anyone to have a try. I love it.
