Poor quality chrome platingAnonymous reviewerWe live in a hard water area, so I used a standard limescale remover to clean the tap. Unfortunately, it immediately became covered in streaks and now looks terrible. It will need replacing.
The chrome plating appears to be extremely thin and of poor quality. I've used the same descaler on many chrome taps and fittings over the years without any issues, and even the other chrome parts of this sink remain completely unaffected after the same treatment. This tap is the only part that was damaged, which suggests the finish is not durable.
