Bit wobblyAnonymous reviewerAngled head adjusts fine. Location of on/off switch is awkward, I usually switch it on and off at the wall socket. It's a bit wobbly on carpeted floors; wouldn't recommend if you have boisterous pets or small children. It does have a heavy basement, so would be difficult but not impossible to pull over.
However, it's a good overall reading light.

Purchased with the suggested bulb which I am finding just a bit too bright.
As the lamp unit is on/ off only the dimmable bulb is no advantage to me.
Anyway it is a very smart lamp unit.

Great product simple and stylish Anonymous reviewerI bought this as a side like the living room. We have one year old baby girl who's into everything and although it does get tucked behind a piece of furniture I'm really happy with how swallowed the light is a really good heavy base and very simple to put together for stop once it was put together it looks sleep the connection's not too obvious and it has a slightly quirky but very simple style which would fit into many rooms. The standard fitting for the lights means we could use any bulb we like so we've gone with a color change bulb. However I think one of the unusual looking bulbs with exposed filaments and that gorgeous bronze color might suit it really well. I was particularly pleased with the value for money on this product it's less than £30 and looks at least as good as many lights that are more than twice the price.

My only issue, and it's a big one because it's part of the reason I bought it in the first place, is that the poles have metal teeth where it screws in, so I physically cannot get it apart to put it back in the box.
I travel between home and uni, and move houses at uni once a year, so specifically wanted a reading lamp that would pack up well - I thought IKEA would be a good shout for this, especially as other reading lamps I saw were much bigger in size. Being unable to take it apart because of the teeth means I'll be unable to package it in the box it came in, and will have to faff about with other less secure packaging and risk the lamp being damaged or scuffed in transport. Why normal screws without teeth wouldn't have worked, I don't know.
