Just think out of the box and also use it on curtains and drapesAnonymous reviewerI've been looking for a poles for my curtains, blinds and drapes to open and close them. Most on Amazon are a fixed length and twice the cost or more. However, they tend to have rings or clips to attach to the curtains or drapes, so the RIKTIG was a challenge to attach, to a heading tape, but with a little bit of thinking its very easy to fix the end of RIKTIG to the curtain, in a multitude of ways. Unfortunately, the IKEA instructions don't show a fixing the the RIKTIG to a curtain heading tape, which is an oversight.
The RIKTIG pole is adjustable for length, locks and flexible to use on small windows and door drapes.
It also comes with a fixing bracket that clips to the pole and keeps it neat and tidily tucked away.
works wellAnonymous reviewerHandy one works well 👌
Blind Anonymous reviewerGreat product worth the money and easy to assemble
Blind pullerAnonymous reviewerDesign could do with rethink. The extender doesn't work well. But once pulled to right size well left. The bottom of the pole slips on a plastic or varnished window sill. Could do with a grippy surface at its base.
Extendable and easy to use Anonymous reviewerPrevious ones are too flimsy and difficult to use. This rod is a great improvement with regards to the better design of rod making it much easier to hook the blinds
Perfect apart from the labelAnonymous reviewerThis is a necessary item for some blinds, works as you'd expect, extending as needed. My only gripe is that, as with many other products, the IKEA label stuck to it is impossible to peel off so it looks a mess. A small point but one of those annoyances you just can't accept.
Its okay but…..Anonymous reviewerIt’s a good price but the rod feels a little flimsy. I bought it for a Venetian blind but it doesn’t feel strong enough to pull the blind down so I wouldn’t recommend it if you were buying to use with that kind of blind. I would think that it’s fine for the roller blinds.
Easy to put together Anonymous reviewerDid what I wanted to do .
Great itemAnonymous reviewerVery handle for taller windows. Would have like in black too
Not necessary for the blindAnonymous reviewerI bought these for my 5 blinds under the impression they were a necessary part. I could be more wrong. Unless your blinds are on a window thats really high they’re worse than useless.
For blindsAnonymous reviewerI needed something to hook onto blinds so that I coul easily open and close. This is just the job
A simple but very useful toolAnonymous reviewerThis is an excellent tool, it is simple and effective.
Duvet coverAnonymous reviewerHas come unstitched at the seem, Would be better if the opening was across the whole width of the cover instead of fighting to get the duvet in through a small opening!
Extremely valuableAnonymous reviewerGreat product, extremely useful around home
Blind pullAnonymous reviewerI can’t reach the blinds behind our sofa because I’m a short… legged person!! This is great!
easy to useAnonymous reviewereasy to use
Perfect for shorties!Anonymous reviewerIdeal solution for grabbing the blind pull. I also use it to draw back my lightweight door curtain.
Value for moneyAnonymous reviewerWorks for the purpose I need it for
UsefulAnonymous reviewerGood if you are small to reach the blind
useful for most of their blindsAnonymous revieweruseful for most of their blinds, although not very good with their magnetic roman blind

Material
What is aluminium?
After iron, aluminium is the world's most used metal and has a very wide range of uses. It’s easy to shape and lightweight, but is still strong and durable. In our range we use it for things like kitchen utensils, curtain rods and tealight cups. A big advantage with aluminium is that it can be recycled again and again without losing its quality. Recycling consumes only a fraction of the energy required to produce aluminium from new raw materials.
