It works!Anonymous reviewerI bought this along with the pillow cover. Put the mat under my cotton sheet. That’s the key. Under a pure cotton sheet not a synthetic/mixed one which keep you hot! It’s not a gel layer like a dog mat. So don’t expect that. But it seems to draw heat away from, allow air to circulate the body to keep you cooler. Don’t know how. But it does.5

Great productAnonymous reviewerbought on a whim wondering if this would help with me over heating in bed? I struggle with overheating and this has been so helpful. You don’t feel any coolness through touch but I think it works by taking the heat away from your body? It’s been very helpful. I put it under my sheet where my upper body is so it stays put and don’t scrunch up or move and works great. Easily washed and air dried. Really happy with it. I wish I could buy a whole sheet of it5

My cat thought it was for her before I could get it in either of those places, and cheaper than the pet cool beds! Having extracted it from the cat, now able to use in pillow case and can feel the cool - but like all cooling bedding, you need to move around or T she effect dismissing as it warms.5

Not cooling.Anonymous reviewerI bought the mat before reading the comments. I’m actually laughing at how non cooling it is. Who tested the product I wonder!
Even after a day in the freezer, the coolness only lasts 30 seconds. In fact, I think a normal pillowcase would stay cooler for longer after being in a freezer.
Anyway, £7.50 isn’t worth making the long trek to return and I’m an IKEA fan so on the plus side, it’s a nice fabric and I may use it as a pillow topper. Would be a nice baby mat too.

Not Cooling at allAnonymous reviewerI purchase this recently and tried to use it. I appreciate that it was not going to be perfect, but thought even a little bit of cooling would be appreciated. To be honest, i completely regret the purchase. It is well off even useful. It has a miniscule cooling effect, that dissapears within a couple minutes of use tops - then it becomes just a pad. I gave two stars as its well made, it just doesnt work as intended.2
