double insulated excellent productAnonymous reviewerOur house's wiring is quite old so we don't have earth cable on the ceiling loop in the kitchen. This lamp is double insulated so you can safely install it. Bear in mind that there is not much space in the body itself so installing is a bit fiddly if you had a connection box.5
