Awful to buildAnonymous reviewerOut of all the Ikea furniture I’ve built this one is the worst. Draws feel flimsy, really difficult to mount the draws and the screws are also extremely hard to screw in on the drawers. Not great.3

They are very easily scratched or chipped unfortunately, especially during construction, but the design is forgiving enough to get away with. Fabulous piece of furnitureAnonymous reviewermy son bought this for his bedroom and as a piece of furniture he could take with him when he moves into his own flat. He found the build quality excellent and was able to mange construction on his own.5
Poor quality - veneer scratches very easily. Anonymous reviewerThese drawers look great and I found assembly easy enough. However, the veneer is so thin and delicate it already has scratches in it revealing the pale fibreboard underneath from just two weeks of normal use. Very disappointing. I’ve had to colour them in with a dark touch up pen. I’m considering using a varnish to try and protect it a bit more. Not up to usual ikea standard imo. 2

Beautiful piece but not quite for a 5 starAnonymous reviewerThis piece is beautiful once assembled . I would say easy enough to put together for 1 or 2 people . I did it by myself and was no problem. The reason I’m not giving this piece a 5 star is because it marks easily if you accidentally hit it with something light. I hit it with small lamp I was going to put on top and it chipped the edge of the unit. Not impressed with the quality as it was not cheap for an ikea piece. 4

"When designing the RÅDMANSÖ series, I was inspired by furniture pieces from the 1950s with dark-wood expressions and metal. I love that it allows for both hiding and displaying items – and the blue colour on certain details creates a nice contrast to the other materials. The design of the legs and the adjustable brass feet add a light and sleek look. It’s warm and functional pieces of furniture that go well in both modern and traditional environments – or a mix of both."
