And this pillow is filled with wool. Fantastic! I don't sweat and feel much more comfortable now. Sometimes it is needed to be fluffed, otherwise it can get compressed. 5

Disappointing: noisy and lumpy pillowAnonymous reviewerThe stiff, quilted textile this pillow is covered in is incredibly noisy. It sounds almost like there is plastic backing on it. I have removed the tags, so it is not them.
Another disappointment is that the pillow comes folded up inside a cloth bag. This has caused a permanent valley vertically down the middle of the pillow, where the fold was when it was stored in the bag. No matter how much I move the tufts of wool on the inside around, the "valley" happens again, like a memory.
It's also very lumpy. My expectation was that the tufts of wool would spread out better giving a smooth soft surface, but it's so lumpy and stiff, that you could only ever use it as the bottom pillow, with another pillow between it and your head.
The size and height of the pillow are fine. I am left wondering if wool-filled pillows from other stores are like this too? £30 is a lot of money for a pillow and this one was not worth it, sadly. 1
