    Shrinks dramatically upon washingAnonymous reviewerDespite following the washing instructions on the label (30 degree quick, gentle cycle - I actually have a Down setting on my machine as well) this mattress protector I had on my daughter’s bed shrunk by about 40% making it completely unfit for purpose. Pretty annoying as I also have one in my own king size bed and will want to wash that at some point. That’s a grand total of £85 for both of them down the drain. So disappointing :(1

There are other reviews showing that this has been an ongoing problem. Luckily was able to get a full refund, however I am disappointed as the product will now go to waste. Hopefully Ikea can fix this issue as a natural cotton/ wool product is better than the polyester ones available.2
