The frame is made of layer-glued bent beech which is a very strong and durable material.
Skiftebo cushion is made of a highly durable yellow fabric which has an even and nice texture.

We have a small apartment so the chair is ideal in that it’s lightweight & easy to move around but by comparison the footstool seems overly cumbersome. Please make smaller footstools to match lightweight armchairs! Also, it seems unreasonably expensive compared to the fairly-priced armchair.

What is layer-glued wood?
With layer-glued wood it’s possible to create flexible and extra strong constructions with curved shapes, like frames for armchairs. The secret is a technique where many layers of thin wood veneer are glued together and then pressed into the desired shape.
