Make it properly and it will last a lifetimeAnonymous reviewerIf you manage to tighten properly - which isn't easy due to the thread-lock painted on the bolts and the small allen key provided. Also I needed to lightly sand the arms smooth with some steel wool and apply some oil. After it was assembled properly it is a great chair. This is my third one. Replace cushions every 10 Years or so. Really nice bounce to them.

Kills your back unless you are very wide and tall!Anonymous reviewerI like the look of the chairs but - it is too wide so I tend to sag to one side which is painful after a while. It is too deep so have to fill the gap with cushions which keep falling off.
The sloping down at the back is quite steep which can make it hard to stand up.
I have a friend who is just below average height for a woman. When she tried my chair her legs stuck out horizontally!!!

DisappointingAnonymous reviewerWe had our previous one for twenty years before it broke and was super. This is really not of the same quality at all. The strength is not there in the frame and the leather padding is too skimpy to be comfy and keeps coming away from the Velcro. We were warned against buying by a friend but went ahead. How stupid we are. We are now having to replace after a couple of years with something else.
Absolute rubbishAnonymous reviewerWe had a leather pohang for 20+ years and it finally broke. Decided to replace with this against friends advice. It is so different. The leather seat and back sags and doesn’t stay put. Have tried some macrame knots and rope but it’s not helping. Save your money. Very disappointed.
Good chairAnonymous reviewerHave had a number of Poang chairs and they are always pretty good.
My only complaint with this one is the lack of padding in the seat -- could do with more foam.
