Reviews

Love the look BUT...Anonymous reviewerThis is a classic IKEA design and I think most would appreciate that part but the problem is the chair isn't that comfortable. The cushions are very thin and uncomfortable. They are not value for money. The quality of the wood feels a little fragile in places. Personally I would not recommend this to anyone but for use in a young teenagers bedroom due to lack of quality and comfort.2

Designer thoughts

Designer thoughts

"POEM armchair, later renamed POÄNG, is one of our most successful products. It is designed by Japanese designer Noboru Nakamura and was launched on the cover of our 1977 catalogue. For the Nytillverkad collection, Noboru Nakamura changed the design by removing the headrest. The expression became new, compact and modern, yet the rocking feature and comfort of the layer-glued and bent wooden frame remained the same."
