Terrible smellAnonymous reviewerMany years ago I bought feather pillows from IKEA, and they were great! Now I decided to buy again. I washed the pillows (I wash everything before use) but I ended up with them having the most horrible smell ever. After several days of airing, the smell is still there. There is no way I can sleep having my nose near this pillow for hours. This is a really bad defect, and IKEA should withdraw this product.1

This is the perfect pillow for stomach, side sleepers. It stays cool an lofty, but with enough "squish" so you can breathe freely.

This fluffy and malleable feather pillow exceeded my expectations. I sleep on my back and sides and this worked very well even though it’s recommended for stomach sleepers. It’s washable but I haven’t washed it yet.

How to care for your down/feather pillow

With a little care, you can prolong the life of your down/feather pillow and keep it fresh. The filling has a natural smell which can be reduced by airing or washing. Wash the pillow separately with a mild detergent (1/3 of the normal amount) on delicate cycle at 60°C. Avoid bleach/fabric softeners. Tumble dry immediately on low heat. A dryer ball or a high-quality tennis ball in the dryer make drying mor efficient. Air your pillow regularly, if possible, in direct sunlight.
