Solid optionAnonymous reviewerPerfect alternative to custom built in wardrobes.5
Just what I neededAnonymous reviewerEasy to assemble. Clear instructions.5
Poor qualityAnonymous reviewerHad to get replacement panels after one was damaged on delivery. Now after about 6 months draw hinges have failed. Wood quality seems to be an issue, very brittle and fails easily. Can't imagine it would survive a disassembly for moving.2
100cm wide too flimsyAnonymous reviewerHad only built 50cm wide Pax in the past but bought two 100cm wide x 236cm tall this time and regret it. The frame is too big to have any structural integrity. We had to use the backboard to keep the entire thing square and the backboard itself is far too flimsy. Any slight push from a hanger or clothing on the inside makes the back flex and has popped off in places. The big frames desperately need a cross brace at the back.3
Very poor qualityAnonymous reviewerI was under no illusions these would be good quality but they were worse than expected. Very flimsy structure, cheap fittings that break easily, veneer on top of chipboard is wafer thin and splits very easily (better cross your fingers you don’t need to unscrew anything as will leave visible damage).1
FlimsyAnonymous reviewerWas so flimsy. Backboard came away from. Returned.1

Great packageAnonymous reviewerAll goes together so easily5
EasyAnonymous reviewerSuper easy to assemble and beautiful colour 10/105
Pax wardrobeAnonymous reviewerWas easy to put together. The supporting feet do NOT stay in though so pretty pointless.4
Flimsy and not worth itAnonymous reviewerThe frame is incredibly flimsy and an absolute nightmare to put together. The design requires tee nuts to be hammered into the bottom from which you can attach feet. However, since the wardrobe is made from chipboard, it doesn’t actually have the integrity to hold the tee nut in place. The dowel pieces that are meant to hold together various pieces are easy to snap, and the screws that are also used don’t give enough support to hold the frame steady. My frame also seemed to have a manufacturing issue where a hole wasn’t drilled deep enough. This means when I connected two pieces, the dowel was forced completely through one of the pieces of wood, breaking it. Ikea has issued me a replacement, but I’m not confident another frame will be any better.2
Cheap and flimsyAnonymous reviewerHave just completely wasted one of the units I purchased as it was so flimsy, it fell apart while constructing and the screws ripped the chip board, so no way to resurrect. Also wasted a good couple of hours!1
ProblemAnonymous reviewerBought from store but was faulty, had few replacements from hd team and both got damaged by hd team..not good at all.1
A great versatile wardrobeAnonymous reviewerWe ordered the pax wardrobe with four drawers and a rack drawer at the bottom looks great with panelled doors and added storage organisation5
Poor QualityAnonymous reviewerThe supporting legs rip the chipboard if moved when installing and the plastic foil wrap the units are coated in is very flimsy .... disappointing considering the cost of the PAX product range1
Good value for moneyAnonymous reviewerSo pleased with these wardrobes. Very easy to put together and with the different door designs they can elevate any room.5
Great wardrobeAnonymous reviewerI’ve bought countless pax wardrobes over the years because the quality is decent, they are easy to assemble & dismantle if moving.
I love that you can design the hanging & storage layout to your own liking.
The only criticism is that the back of the wardrobe is flimsy & needs nailing on, a hardwood backing or at least a couple of supports across the back would make it sturdier.5
Awful qualityAnonymous reviewerNo idea why everyone raves about PAX on instagram. The quality is awful, cheap, brittle chip board. The back board is so flimsy. Awful. Not worth the money at all.1
