PAX & Komplement componants to create PAX wardrobeAnonymous reviewerPurchasing the units was easy as we used the in-store design service and that was quick and easy. Delivery was simple and the guys were very helpful as some of the boxes are quite heavy.
As these wardrobes are customisable one purchases the separate elements to create the perfect wardrobe which is absolutely fine however what we discovered is that the build instructions gives slightly better information depending upon which box you open and read first! We are quite adept at building flat-pack furniture and so could see what needed to be done when we faced a challenge as we built, what we found when we opened later boxes was that there was more information that would have informed us better along the way rather than figure it out for ourselves, so I guess the answer is that one should open all the cartons and read every instruction element thoroughly first which is not sop easy depending upon the space that one has to store the boxes while doing so. Or IKEA to improve instructions

Great, but not perfectAnonymous reviewerIve had pax wardrobes previously, and they are great. Easy to assemble, customisable, superb value for money.
Unfortunately, the leading edge of one side panels had damage to it, which is quite noticeable at the plinth. When I came to build the next wardrobe, the plinth was damaged on that one too. So I have two brand new wardrobes, with visible imperfections. This is only the second time I have ever experienced this, and its a shame because I love Ikea products

Followed a man on there and managed to build them. The backs are quite flimsy would have liked a more robust back. Would prefer some written instructions as the pictures were hard to follow.

Great wardrobesAnonymous reviewerPax is really pretty easy to put together (especially as I've now done six!) and we got a good finish. As the skirtings were 18mm deep by 150mm high, we used 20mm square cross section battens to fill in the gap (measured, cut, and just glued and screwed down the edges) and that worked perfectly. We have Paxes all over, not just for clothes but also as a utility cupboard and a larder.
