Good design but fabric creases badlyAnonymous reviewerIt's a shame because the sofa is very comfortable. I had a professional fitter from IKEAS's associate Taskrabbit to put it together for me and he did it in no time. However, the fabic looks awful...full of creases everywhere, particularly on the base around the cushions. Have tried to stretch the fabric around the edges but doesn't help. Not happy with how this sofa looks. I hope IKEA has a solution to this problem2
Good sofa - poor quality cushions Anonymous reviewerWe’ve had Karlstad sofas for years and as the Parup seems to be the new version, thought it was a safe buy however the quality of the cushions are terrible. Will definitely not last 10 years like the karlstad!3

I put it together on my own, instructions very clear. Took me around two hrs. Best buy for a long time. Very pleased.5

Fab small sofaAnonymous reviewerIt took a long time to persuade hubby that this sofa would be perfect for our (not massive) living room. It must be, as I've hardly had a chance to sit on it! The size is ideal for 2 people to sit comfortably or 1 person with their feet up. The material (beige) is lovely. It feels hard wearing and more expensive than it was. Pick up was a breeze and assembly wasn't as bad as some reviews suggested. The two of us 60+ managed it in way less than 2 hours. My only disappointment is that the seat cushions already seem misshapen where we sit instead of retaining/regaining their shape overnight. Is this supposed to happen? It's such a shame as it then looks a little worn even though it's brand new. 5
No support and flat cushions, extremely uncomfortableAnonymous reviewerThe base support is not fit for purpose, the base and back cushions started sagging and very flattened only a few weeks after normal use. This sofa is so uncomfortable it causes us pain when we sit on it. It is extremely poorly built and poor quality.1
comfortable sofaAnonymous reviewerThis is a very comfortable sofa. It is a very simple style warmed by the wooden legs - very Scandinavian! The legs also mean my robot hoover can clean under the sofa :) The only downside is that it is not a warm beige, is more like a grey beige. I only had it for a couple of months so I cannot comment on durability, but so far so good.5
