DisappointingAnonymous reviewerAlthough clear on website, wasn't apparent instore that this is a wired-in product; certainly not clear from the box. Therefore a bit of a fiddle getting plug-in flex to fit (needed to make small channel in wall). Also quite tricky to get lamp clamped onto baseplate - brute force needed.
Purchased correct lights, but most disappointing thing is the dimmer function, which just does not work. When turning on, the bulb flashed very bright, then goes to nothing. Turning the dimmer switch only get some disturbing flickering and just maximum light; certainly not a dimmer light - does the dimmer switch bit work properly? I see same complaint from other reviewers.
Product design is good and lights look fine above our bed, but just doesn't function as expected for what is a reasonably expensive item.
Hard to fit and buzzesAnonymous reviewerI bought a pair of these very stylish lights. As other reviewers have noted, there is so much wiring inside the base that it is hard to impossible to fit the lights correctly - flush to the wall. Also, again as noted in other reviews, one of the lights buzzes. The bulbs recommended by IKEA were used, and one of the lights is fine. IKEA will not send me a replacement, but suggest I go to my nearest store. Not an option, since it is 70 mildes away.

I don't like the switchAnonymous reviewerIt's not very easy to switch off as you are nodding off! It turns on in a rather peculiar manner. It comes on you start to turn the knob and then goes off immediately - I thought it was broken the first time I switched it on but if you continue to turn it, it eventually comes on!

I couldn't get them to fit flush against the wall as there was always some wire inside getting in the way. They also have a design flaw in assuming your existing cables come from below; if they come from above the screw hole positions mean you'll find yourself drilling right through the wires!

Buzzing issueAnonymous reviewerNice looking light. A bit tight for wiring inside. But the main issue (as others noted as well) is that they have annoying buzzing sound. I used the recommended GU10 led (bought in Ikea as well).
Buzzing sound and won’t fit flushAnonymous reviewerI purchased 2 of these and will have to return them due to a buzzing sound emanating from the light despite using the recommended bulb (GU10 led). The other problem is the wiring section is really tight so the lights do not fit flush against the wall. Disappointed as they look great and do exactly what we want for a reasonable price. Quality is not usual IKEA as one of the lights doesn’t stay up and gradually leans down.
