Too Many Things Wrong.Anonymous reviewerI bought this lamp as I like its slim design and colour but it has been a let down.
There are knobs on the joints that are presumably for adding tension to hold the lamp’s position but there is no reference in the assembly instructions. They’ve little effect and I’ve had the lamp replaced more than once as they’ve been jammed or loose; this is either a design flaw or bad quality control.
Inserting light bulbs is fiddly even with small fingers. Any lamp fitting using GU10 bulbs should be supplied with a suction applicator making it easier to insert the bulb. They cost pounds online but are only worth pennies. To IKEA, you can easily supply these as other retailers do.
Attaching the standing pole to the base needs force to secure it otherwise it disconnects when lifting the lamp or turning the upper arm. The base has too much wobble.
This is all unfortunate for a lamp that could be good using customer input, not just feedback.

The switch is on top of the lamp which remains cool even after long use. There are times when I would like to switch to be on the cable for an easier access. Anyway, I like the lamps.
