Bargain basement item that didn't operate!Anonymous reviewerBought in bargain corner as it had been a display item. I checked it over and it looked fine, however I didn't realise the pull cord for the switch was missing, so it wouldn't turn on or off. Contacted IKEA for help/ reduction so I could buy and fit a pull cord but they weren't interested as sold as seen. Not a good policy in my opinion, if I wasn't prepared to repair the light I reckon it would end up in landfill!would
Anonymous reviewerThis lamp is just perfect for my needs - the base is good and heavy and quite a small size so just right for the corner of my room. Shade is not a bright white so looks great against my pale grey wall. Easy pull cord to switch on and off out of reach of my grandchildren.

Initially I thought it was too small but was really pleased to find the shade height can be easily altered. Lovely neutral colour and base design gives a sturdy but unobtrusive lamp. Easy to operate pull switch looks good too. Fabulous addition to my lounge. Worth buying for the base alone but the shade will happily blend in with most decors providing a soft but bright light.
